We will keep you updated on news and events as the Neighbourhood Plan takes shape.

Regulation 15

The documents for the Chet Neighbourhood Plan at the Regulation 15 stage were submitted to South Norfolk Council and Broads Authority on 10 October 2023.

The Regulation 14 Consultation on the draft neighbourhood plan will take place from 5 June 2023 to 30 July 2023.

This will be your opportunity to provide comments on the policies we've written to influence planning decision in Loddon & Chedgrave.

All the consultation documents are available under "documents" on this website. The documents include the Chet Neighbourhood Plan and all the supporting documents such as the Design Codes, Local Green Space Assessment and Views Assessment. There is also a Summary Document which provides a shorter version of the plan with all the policies listed.

Hard copies of the Plan and Summary Document together with a short survey will be available in Loddon Library and Chet Stores. Copies of the Summary Document will also be available from the Jubilee Hall entrance hall, the Brian Clark Rooms, Loddon Garden & Seed, Rosie Lees's new venue.

There will be two consultation events, which will be your opportunity to hear more about the plan, view the policies and speak to those involved in developing it.

  • Thursday 8 June, All Saints Church Rooms, Chedgrave, 1.30 pm or 3.00 pm

  • Saturday 17 June, The Hollies, Loddon, 10.00 am or 12 pm

Online Survey

March 2022

Do you care about your community's future?

Are you aged 7 to 100 years old? Do you live in Chedgrave or Loddon, or in a neighbouring village, or are you visiting?

We are seeking your views through our survey throughout March. We will be running Focus groups in May to discuss key aspects of our Neighbourhood Plan.

What are the best things about Loddon & Chedgrave? What would you like to change? What do you see as potential challenges facing our community - say by 2040?
